In the Sejm Chronicle the visit of Iraqi Parliament representatives in the Polish Sejm was noted. A bi-weekly in an issue of 15 September included a coverage in a column devoted to statements of Parliamentary Clubs. Below please find an extract from such article.
“From 10 till 16 September at the invitation of Deputy Paweł Skutecki, Chairman of the Parliamentary Group for Intercultural and Interreligious Dialogue, stayed in Poland a delegation of deputies from Iraq. The invited guests participated in many meetings, i.a. with Stanisław Tyszka, Vice-Marshal of the Sejm, representative of the Ministry of Infrastructure and also representative of numerous Sejm commission.
On Tuesday, 12 September, the delegation participated in opening of an exhibition devoted to liberation of Mosul. It was possible to see the exhibition “Iraq. With hand we fight with terrorism and extremism, with hand let’s spread love and peace in the homeland” in the building of the Sejm. Then there was a session of the Parliamentary Committee for Intercultural and Interreligious Dialogue during which also the invited guests had their speeches. (…)”
