Among 7 Members of Parliament of the Republic of Iraq, who in September visited Poland, three were members of the Parliamentary Polish-Iraqi Friendship Group. Deputy Paweł Skutecki promised to take actions to create an equivalent group in the Polish Parliament. He kept his word.
Not a whole month after the Iraqi visit, and precisely on 11 October, the Polish-Iraqi Parliamentary Group was created. The Chairman of the Group is Paweł Skutecki (Kukiz’15). In the group there are also eight other members from the same Parliamentary Club Kukiz’15.
The Vice-President of the group is Zbigniew Chmielowiec, a member of Law and Justice party. In the group there are also three members of his group.
