His Excellency Asaad Sultan Hachem Abu Gulal, the Ambassador of Iraq responded to an invitation of members of the Polish-Arabic Cultural and Economical Club and on 26 May visited Bydgoszcz. The plan of the visit was very tight and included a meeting with Voivode Mikołaj Bogdanowicz, opening of the exhibition Air France 2017 and visiting plants of Military Aviation Facility No 2, and also a visit in Hanplast, a plastic processing plant. The visit ended in an official dinner in the hotel Focus “Pod Orłem”.
In the Voidodeship Office, the Ambassador in the presence of Voivode, Deputy Paweł Skutecki and the President of ICAR Foundation Jaromir Łatuszyński discussed the possibility to build economic cooperation, its directions and areas. The Guests expressed their interest in issues regarding our experiences in the area of water resources and cooperation within construction and agricultural and food industry.
The programme of the all day visit included the opening of the exhibition Air France 2017 constituting, as every year, an opportunity to build contacts between entrepreneurs, manufacturers and also with the users of planes and aviation equipment. While visiting the exhibition and Military Aviation Facility No 2, the Guests were accompanied by Bartosz Kownacki, Vice-Minister of Defence.
We visited with His Excellency Hadżi Abu Gulal also the Hanplast company. The Ambassador visited this modern plant in Bydgoszcz which among others processes plastic. The company organised lunch during which possibilities of cooperation were discussed.
The day ended an official dinner and a performance of a talented opera singer Aleksander Kamedulski.
